A little side-note: When I was in college, a boy in my dorm told me that he and his brother used to stuff the family cat in a dresser drawer, then blow marijuana smoke into the drawer to stone out the cat. After some weeks of this, the cat got hooked on being stoned, and the boys never did explain to their mother why the cat'd jump into a dresser drawer whenver you opened one, with an expectant look on its face...

A Vancouver veterinarian who runs a 24-hour emergency clinic says she treats a surprising number of dogs who have overdosed on marijuana or other illicit drugs.
